Lords Mobile troop training cost, T1 to T4

Every troop in one place: what it costs in resources and gold, the might it gives and how long one takes to train, then what a real army adds up to.

By Axtropy · Published

Training is where most of a Lords Mobile account's resources go, so it pays to know the numbers before queueing ten thousand troops. The tables below come from the same data as our free troop calculator, which does the arithmetic for any mix for you.

Cost, might and time for each troop

Each tier has four troops, one per type. Infantry uses food, timber and ore. Ranged uses food, stone and timber. Cavalry uses food, stone and ore. Siege uses all four. Gold is a flat amount per tier, and T1 costs none.

Time is at base speed, with no training-speed bonus. A bonus divides it: real time equals base time ÷ (1 + bonus ÷ 100), so a 100% bonus halves it.

What a big army adds up to

Small numbers per troop get large fast. This is the cost of 100,000 troops of each type at T4, at base training speed:

Cost, might and base training time of 100,000 T4 troops of each type
ArmyTypeResourcesGoldMightBase time
100,000 Heroic FighterInfantry100M food · 100M timber · 100M ore50M3.6M138d 21h 20m

For a smaller example, 10,000 Heroic Fighter cost 10M food, 10M timber, 10M ore and 5M gold, give 360K might and take 13d 21h 20m at base speed.

Which tier gives the most might per resource?

If you are training for might rather than for a fight, the best value is not the top tier. This table shows might per 1,000 resources spent (food, stone, timber and ore, not gold):

Might gained per 1,000 resources spent, by tier and type
TierInfantryRangedCavalrySiege
T113.313.313.310.0
T226.726.726.720.0
T353.353.353.340.0
T412.012.012.09.0

T3 is the most efficient tier on every type (the might guide has the per-unit values, and the T5 guide covers the step above T4): a Royal Guard gives 24 might for 450 resources, while a Heroic Fighter gives 36 for 3,000. T4 is what you train for battle strength, not for might per resource.

Plan it, then train it

Put your target army into the troop calculator with your training-speed bonus to see the full bill and the real time before you spend anything. If you are also waiting on timers, the speed-up calculator shows whether the speed-ups you hold will cover them, and the speed-ups guide explains what each size is worth.
